Leo Lunar Eclipse Hearing the Heart / Healing the Heart 31st January 2018, 9.26 pm Kuala Lumpur

We end the first month of 2018 with a Lunar Eclipse in Leo. The Eclipses have been falling on the Leo/Aquarius axis since late 2016. Eclipses stir the pot and bring to us new trajectories. Often there are chapters endings and new ones beginning. What was brought to light in your light during the Eclipses in February and August last year, and what is coming up for you now? Realizations and revelations emerge under the powerful Lunar light of this time. The Eclipses of last year and this year will influence and affect more powerfully those who have planets or important angles in the Fixed signs.

Leo is the Solar Sign, ruled by the Sun, the royal, magnificent fixed flame of our heart and life essence. In Astrology, Leo rules the heart, and what makes our hearts sing. In each of us is a creative spark of divine essence. This spark and flame is uninhibited and clear in children. What is the state of your heart? Where do you feel your heart flame magnified, and where is it diminished?

These series of Eclipses in Leo and Aquarius have been asking of us to recognize and to mine our gold, that which is our sacred purpose, and what truly brings to us heart joy and contentment.

The Sun and Venus in Aquarius is opposite to the Moon in Leo at this Eclipse. Aquarius is the sign of the community and collective, related to the future, to humanity, technology and innovation. How are we participating in this inter connected collective web of consciousness? What is our role and part in the collective? At its best, Aquarius relates to the vital support networks and loving communities that are necessary for each of us to thrive and grow. The shadow side of Aquarius reveals the malady of our times, that of living exclusively in a headspace, being digitally distracted and addicted, being influenced and subsumed by the group mind. With our increasing dependence on technology, it has become difficult to maintain a connection to our hearts. This Leo Lunar Eclipse can light the way and tell us where we need to be tuning in and dropping into the space of our hearts, so that we can hear and discern the new and important heart directions that are being formed for us now.

This Leo Lunar Eclipse can also highlight the need for a healing of our hearts. The first step in the healing of the heart is to create a space of listening to what it has to say. Listening, feeling, grieving, living and celebrating the heart. Each of us are our own hero and heroine on our own hero or heroine’s journey. Eclipses can be the wild cards that gently or not so gently pull us back to the path. At this Leo Lunar Eclipse may we be engaged with what our hearts have to reveal to us with courage, conviction and love so that we may nurture and bring into the world the unique gifts and purpose only we can bring forth.

Happy Lunar Eclipse in Leo.

New Moon in Capricorn – Center of Gravity 17th January 2018 10:17 am, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The tide and feeling has perceptibly shifted, since Saturn entered the sign of Capricorn near the last Winter Solstice. The dynamism, fire and surprise element of the past years has given way to an Earthy, weighty grounding. There is gravitas, an initial movement and reorientation around this new energy of so much Earth, a searching for our personal center of gravity.
Where we can root down and build is the order of the day, and the theme for the coming year. This New Moon can be considered to be an opening sequence and introduction of what to expect in this couple of years, building up to the monumental stellium in Capricorn in 2020. This stellium (a group of 3 or more planets in the same sign, or house) features the luminaries Sun and Moon, as well as Venus and Pluto.

There is a chthonic rumble and movement brewing. Pluto is lord of the underworld and here he is configured with Saturn, the luminaries and Venus, bringing our awareness to our personal and collective shadow material. The Plutonian process is a searing, intense and often difficult. Together with Saturn, we are stripped bare of illusions. What has broken down and no longer works needs to die, so that we can build, and begin.

This stellium in Capricorn seems to be pointing at the foundational strength of our relationships and our relationship to value, money, success and time. The energy of Saturn and Pluto together can be quite harsh, and we may be shown in no so gentle ways the cracks in our foundation. The good news is it will be quite plain to see where the work is to be done. This New Moon seems to be asking us to shape up, and to break down the elements of what we need to do, step by step to arrive at our personal mountain tops.

Uranus, in the final degrees of Aries makes a tense square aspect to the stellium in Capricorn. Square aspects are a challenge, and Uranus wields lighting bolts and tosses it where we least expect it. This could cause ruptures and rude awakenings as Uranus in Aries is the need to present and embody the new, what is innovative and future reaching. Uranus in Aries is also about the liberation of the self from the rigid boundaries and traditions that is symbolized by Saturn and Capricorn.

The Square aspect requires that both sides work dynamically to produce growth and results. Innovation and liberation require discipline and patience for it to make an impact and difference in our lives and in the world. Uranus in Aries is leaving Aries for Taurus soon. We are integrating the final lessons of Uranus in Aries’s teachings of how to be free to courageously be ourselves, within the requirements reality, our boundaries, capabilities and responsibilities.

Uranus in Aries will also challenge the hanging on to tradition for its own sake, and we may be having important conversations, and/or adjustments in our life that can help us to cull and sort what we wish to keep of the old and the new so that we can move forward in a good way.

Still, despite the rumblings that are going on above and below ground, the goat is creature with steady feet. We can take a cue from the mountain goat and find our own center of gravity at this time as we pave our way in the new year.

Happy Capricorn New Moon ~~

Full Moon in Cancer – Homing Signal, 2nd January 2018 at 10.24 am, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Crossing the threshold into 2018, we encounter the bright and luminous Full Moon in Cancer, welcoming us home.

This is quite a start to the New Year, as the Moon is in her own home sign of Cancer, and opposite to the Sun, Venus, Pluto and the star of the show, Saturn in his own sign of Capricorn. Saturn’s recent ingress into Capricorn brings us to a defining moment as Saturn, strong in his own sign sets up much of the atmosphere, theme and work, not only for this coming year, but for the next two years to come, peaking in 2020.

Saturn in his own Capricornian territory for the next two and a half years can help us to truly form our destinies. The times ahead of us in the next years are truly transformative, not only on the personal level, but in the world at large. Saturn demands realism, integrity and personal responsibility.

On the global level, we are already seeing, and will continue to see more examples of people in places of power who have abused their power, and who are out of alignment with integrity be brought to their fall. Saturn in Capricorn brings a cosmic rebalancing as we move through these times.

In our own lives, we will be asked to look at where we are in or out of balance with integrity and responsibility, and work to build the flaws in our foundation. Where Capricorn is in our natal charts describe where the work and focus for us is. Saturn in Capricorn is the master builder, we have the opportunity now to be on track with our true work. The gift won from Saturn is gaining our own inner and outer mastery. If we are willing to do the work, we can see the realization of our dreams at the end of Saturn’s transit in Capricorn.

So much Capricorn and Saturn at the start of the New Year brings a sombre tone. Venus and Pluto in the mix brings about a certain dark intensity. Where we are at with our life and relationship values, ethics and commitments may be brought to the fore. Opposite to all of this activity is the Moon in Cancer, in a Grand Trine with Neptune and a Jupiter-Mars conjunction. This is an emotional swell that counters the sometimes too stark realism of so much Saturn and Capricorn. Our sensitivities, longing to belong, our soulful inner life and emotions are a homing signal that we can follow to find our own way ‘home’, our place in the world.

The Cancer-Capricorn axis teaches us how to balance the soulful inner/emotional life with the life of mastery/work and achievement. Both poles inform each other, and we need to know and feel our deep roots of belonging so that we can reach the heights of mastery in the world.

Happy New Year. May our path be lit with love and blessings, and we may find our way home, to a sense of belonging with each other and to the world.

New Moon in Sagittarius – Cosmic Download, 18th November 2017 2.30 pm Kuala Lumpur

It is a reflective time of the year, as we prepare to enter the gateway through the Winter Solstice on the 21st of December. This will be an especially significant Winter Solstice, for Saturn’s home coming in his own sign happens just before the start of Capricorn season. Saturn in his own sign for the next approximate 2 and a half years promises to be a time for getting down to the serious business of living our real life. It is a time for reality checks, lessons and rewards where we have been putting in the hard work, and ‘doing it right’.

Before the Winter Solstice is this New Moon, in the aspirational, forward looking sign of Sagittarius. The Moon, Sun, Saturn, Venus and Mercury, still in his retrograde phase in Sagittarius is significant, for we find this planetary line up clustered around the degree of the Galactic center, currently found at 27°3’ of Sagittarius.

The Galactic center is the beating heart of the Milky Way. Our Solar System orients us around the Sun. The Sun in our Astrological charts represent our innermost essence of being, the spark of life and divine force and radiance within us. Our Solar System in turn rotates around the Galactic Center. This mysterious Galactic center hints at a larger purpose and story, taking us beyond the confines of our ‘Sole/Solar’ perspective.

The significance and impact of the Galactic Center has been described by Astrologers as being a direct line to awakening, fuelling our evolution and zapping us with cosmic downloads of mystery and meaning.

Melanie Rhinehart, in an article about the Galactic Center writes, ‘When the last five degrees of Sagittarius are stimulated by transiting planets, a process of awakening is initiated… A time of accelerated spiritual development occurs, with its attendant life challenges which may include rapid change, separations, crisis, illness and stress as outmoded ideas are released.’

This message of accelerate spiritual development feels especially important at this New Moon. Attendant with this acceleration, we are witnessing both on the inner and outer levels, local and global levels the difficult challenges and changes taking place in our times. Saturn in Capricorn reinforces the discipline and responsibility necessary for us to take the next steps forward. We can step into the next level of personal mastery, claiming our inner authority by looking at where Capricorn falls in our natal charts. That is where the lessons, and work around our personal mastery and responsibility lie in the coming two and a half years.

Before Saturn in Capricorn is Saturn at the final 29th degree of Sagittarius, the final in the line up of planets at this New Moon clustered around the Galactic Center. The final message and gift of Saturn in Sagittarius here at this time of seeding may be for us to once and for all surrender our personal limiting stories and beliefs, and to allow ourselves to receive and to dream up our bigger, brighter life, the one that our hearts are longing to live. There is also something here about how daring to live the larger, more purposeful and true live impacting others around here, igniting a chain of inspiration that has a positive influence of all of live as we dream together the great dream. Saturn’s presence here also cements a sense of seriousness and urgency about getting it right, getting down to work. The cosmic download and direction is now made available at the New Moon for us to tune into. May we all hear and receive the instructions of our heart’s truth so that we may live true and well.

Happy New Moon and many blessings xox

Full Moon in Gemini and Mercury Retrograde – Mind Space, Vision Space 3rd December 2017, 11:46 pm, Kuala Lumpur

The element of Air sets the tone of this Full Moon in Gemini. Gemini is the first Air Sign in the Zodiacal wheel, our merry trickster and the messenger of the Gods. The air element in Astrology presides over thought, and the weaving together of thought.

Intellectual study, expression, communication, learning, and social exchange are some of the domains of the Air Signs. Of the Air pantheon, Gemini is known as the archetypal trickster and messenger. We can view Gemini’s role as both the trickster and messenger as relating to the function of thought and our minds. Our thoughts have the potential to trick us and to lead us down a garden path. We may struggle with the identification with thought, grappling with our monkey mind, and lose the experience of our whole selves to being in our heads.

On the flip side, and there always is a flip side to Gemini, who presides over duality, is the ability of our minds to be the receptacle for a divine or true message, for our minds to be a vehicle that channels creativity and inspiration, communication as a conduit for the sacred.

It is known in all traditions that words and thoughts can create, alter or charge reality. Everyday we receive in our unconscious spells from the media, advertising, school, Facebook. We cast spells with the words we say to each other. All of us know the dark magic of words that have scarred us and altered how we felt or thought about ourselves. We also hopefully have experienced how a kind word set us on a new and empowered trajectory in our lives.

In the sacred traditions there are Mantras, incantations, meditations to purify our minds, to work with the potent force contained in words, sound, thought. It is a good time at this Gemini Full Moon, to see what spells in the way of your language, your words and thoughts are creating and casting in and around the reality we are all part of, and creatively contributing to.

In considering the Air element, we may also consider Space as a higher octave of Air. In giving ourselves fresh air to breathe, physical, emotional and mental space, we renew ourselves. If we can find the silent space in between the the rush of life, or in between musical notes, or words in our favourite book we might find deeper, newer possibilities, a break beyond surface words and noise, newness, of the world, life and ourselves being breathed into being.

On the same day as the Full Moon, Gemini’s ruler, Mercury goes Retrograde. This is significant and highly symbolic. The retrograde motion of planetary bodies brings about a reversal or disruption to the ‘normal’ way that a planet operates. Hence, the famous feature of Mercury Retrograde, travel mix ups, delays, technical issues, technology breakdowns and communication bungles.

When Mercury goes retrograde, he is seemingly moving backwards from our point of view on Earth, and often we also are drawn into having to go over things a few times, or revisit the past, in the form of people or memories, events from the past surfacing for us to consider. More importantly, and what is less known, is the opportunity that Mercury Retrograde presents. Mercury Retrograde brings about a much needed pause from the constant liner, logic driven narrative of our times, and offers to us an internal, imaginative space, drawing us into reflection. Mercury is now in the sign of Sagittarius, which is said to be in its detriment. It is said that Mercury is in its detriment here because, Sagittarius, in taking in the whole vision, meaning and picture, often misses the open flexibility of Mercury’s process of taking in details, ideas and connecting the dots.

Mercury’s retrogradation at this Full Moon in the sign of Sagittarius however will serve us well, if we can patiently sit with a vision and picture that doesn’t quite make sense yet. We are likely to feel the tension and being stretched in different directions as we encounter the T-square of the Sun and Moon to Neptune, all lying at 11 degrees of the Mutable signs. This requires flexibility and an ability to let go.

The T-square of the Moon, Sun and Neptune resemble a piecing together of a visionary dream we have in our hearts. We gather clues, a message, fragments of dreams that have come through, look at the directions laid before us. Gemini offers to think and talk through it while Sagittarius looks at does it best to divine a direction. The crashing waves of Neptune may bring something to our shores, or sweep away a cherished idea or belief we have. This T-square has the potential to bring through a healing message in a bottle, but we may need to be comfortable with ambiguity for now, and sit with the symbols, let them make sense in their own time.

Our retrograde Mercury is also sitting next to Old Man Saturn, at the tail end of his tenure in Sagittarius. This is no accident, we have the opportunity now, to do our retrograde work of the lessons Saturn’s two year stay in Sagittarius. Review, Rework, Redo, Release and Research what we have learned about our moral, spiritual foundations, our true beliefs, our faith and our ideals and how they carry us through life.

This Full Moon in Gemini will bring up the situations and circumstances that relate to this final review. This is a propitious time to become aware of the last stubborn driving beliefs and thoughts, and offer them up to the vision/mind space of this Full Moon and Mercury Retrograde to release and reboot your own, clearer, more inspired vision/ mind space. May it be so.

Have a wonderful Full Moon in Gemini.

New Moon in Scorpio – In the belly of the night 18th November 2017 7:42 pm, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

This New Moon cycle in the sign of Scorpio feels like a slow and quiet emergence from the underbelly of the night.
New Moons bring new beginnings and in the sign of Scorpio, there is the feeling of something which has been gestating in the dark pushing above ground now. The feeling is one of tranquil intensity and midnight calm before the storm.

The sign of Scorpio presides over the mysteries of life, death and rebirth. The sweet and dark lull of this New Moon has the potential to draw us deeper into our own personal quiet. If we pay attention, we may find feel the inner stirrings to find the fire of life in the embers of the soul. If we listen carefully we may hear inner direction and guidance, towards what we truly love, what must die in our lives, what must be renewed and brought to life again.

This New Moon features Venus and Jupiter, the Sun and Moon, all together in Scorpio. There is still the lingering sweetness of the Venus Jupiter conjunction, exact on the 14th of November present at this New Moon, bringing a decidedly rich and pleasantly dark flavor to this New Moon.

The other side to the Venus-Jupiter conjunction speaks to the liberation and uprising of the wrath and fury that has recently erupted in the face of revelations of sexual abuse and dominance by men in power. Venus and Jupiter in Scorpio is the archetypal darker face of the Goddess.

Jupiter’s proximity can bring out the friendlier face of the dark goddess, and she may bring a flash of healing, helping us to reach into and understand the necessary deep healing of our culture’s relationship to sexuality and consequently our own sexuality. Concentrated Scorpio energy can help us to witness, appreciate and integrate our own darker aspects, places in us that have been twisted or bent. It is a good time to ask for her help, to recognize her presence and essence in our lives, and bring love to the shadowy aspects in ourselves. We can set intentions around healing the depths within us, and reclaiming the inner source of our power.

Mars, the traditional ruler of Scorpio is also square to the modern day co-ruler of Scorpio, Pluto. This is another layer of the working out of relational and sexual dynamics, especially relating to the relationships we have with figures of authority, or coming to know our own authority or lack of it in relationships. This can be a difficult push and pull, and Mars-Pluto aspects have been known to bring about violent eruptions. Again, here is an opportunity to go deeper within oneself, and offering up what we wish to heal and transform in our lives to the healing waters of the dark.

Wishing you a brilliantly beautiful, richly inspiring and deeply healing New Moon.

Full Moon in Taurus, Standing Your Sacred Ground 4th November 2017, 13:22 pm, Kuala Lumpur

The eighth sign of the zodiac, Scorpio, is the quintessential sign of mystery. The Sun’s journey through Scorpio heralds the time of the year in the Northern hemisphere where after the equal night and day of the Equinox, daylight decreases and the dark ascends.

The ascending dark beckons us inward, into our inner life. We see things in the darkness that are hidden in the light, secrets and mysteries of the soul. Scorpio invites us into the depths, the underworld.
The motif of the descent into the underworld has roots in cultures all over the world. The heroine or hero quests in the underworld to recover an object, a person or to gain knowledge and power.

The underworld is awe inspiring, terrifying and ultimately generous. Through this underworld passage we learn about the cyclic nature of things. What is born must die, what dies fertilizes the ground, makes it rich and fertile for the new to be born.

We approach this Full Moon in Taurus enveloped by Scorpio energy. Jupiter, newly in the sign of Scorpio joins together with the Sun. Our heavenly messenger, Mercury is also in the sign of the Scorpion.

Jupiter is known in traditional Astrology as the great benefic. His beneficence guides us towards greater heights, and in the sign of Scorpio, into greater depths. Jupiter can help us to expand into greater possibilities. Before this is possible, there is often a clearing away, and the sign of Scorpio adds greater emphasis to this process of death before rebirth. This may be felt as painful or difficult in places and yet Jupiter invites us to stand at the precipice, to feel into the edges of these depths, and undertake the excavation of the magic and inner jewel from times of personal darkness. Jupiter is also about faith, and it could be that we find the gift of faith in our own lives at this time.

We all experience Scorpio energies in different ways. Some of us may find ourselves now working with these motifs of emerging shadow material, including lurking emotional difficulty, paranoia, fragments of terror, trauma and or experiences of death or crisis in some areas of life, including in the realm of survival, our sexuality and money/financial life. The sign of Scorpio is known to be the most healing and shamanic of energies. It bears witness and brings these difficulties to the surface. Bringing it up to the light engenders healing.

The polar opposite to Scorpio is Taurus, and this Full Moon in Taurus offers to us sweet respite, steady ground to root down into during this Scorpio season. Taurus’s tranquility and earthy strength can be a balm to the chthonic difficulties of Scorpio, and Scorpio’s passion and depth can bring vividness and meaning to Taurus’s simplicity.
This full, lush and ripe goddess of a Taurus Full Moon asks us to notice where we find the steady, sacred ground in our lives. Where can we root down into, breathe, remember and celebrate the simple truth of our lives, our bodies, our being connected to the Earth that supports us, and to nature that nourishes us? How can we give our thanks to the Earth for sustaining all of us in a million different ways?

Have you found the sacred ground in your life? Having experienced the dark, depth and soul of Scorpio, where and what in our lives will we stand for, and make sacred? How do we create steady nourishing places for us to retreat to, to replenish ourselves, to connect to the magic of life and existence? Can we offer to others going through more challenging times a place, helping them to remember their own steady, restful, sacred place?
May we all find, and stand on our sacred grounds, blessed by life, love and grace.

New Moon in Libra – The revolution of relationships 3:11 am, 20th October 2017, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

The zodiac sign of Libra holds and balances the tension of the opposites. Equal light and dark, inner and outer, equal parts giving and receiving in our partnerships, and in our relationship with the world.

In the natural balance of things, we human beings have an innate sense of reciprocity. There is a natural impulse in us to give when we have received, and this circulation of energy ensures that we, others around us, our environment, and all of life continues to thrive.

In the culture that has been erected, this natural knowingness and sense of mutuality has been squashed, and we are told that we need to compete, and to struggle to make sure that we get ours.

It is a propitious time at this Libra New Moon to come back into balance within ourselves, and with the world. When there is the balance, we begin to heal and thrive in our lives and relationship. New Moon times are potent for setting intentions. Venus, the goddess of love joins the New Moon in Libra, bringing added sweetness and magic, romance and beauty to this New Moon cycle. We can offer our prayers to life, and set intentions around drawing greater beauty, balance, reciprocity, love, pleasure and good relationships into our life, and for those around us.

You may want to set up a beautiful altar or offering to Venus, in the form of flowers, art and sweet smelling incense to invite her bright presence and energy into your life. You may also want to work with rose quartz crystals to draw more romance into your love. You can also work with Venus and rose quartz to bring a loving relationship into your life.

At the same time, Uranus is opposite to this New Moon in Libra, throwing his thunder bolts of awakening and revolution at the Sun and Moon. To begin a new cycle (New Moon) of true equilibrium and balance, we must first become aware of where we are out of balance, where we have lost touch with ourselves. We must also learn about who we are becoming and how we must show up, first as individuals in relationship to ourselves, then with others and the world. Uranus may inspire us, or not so gently force us to break free from relationship patterns and dynamics that keep us stuck in disempowerment.

May we all be blessed at this New Moon with awakening, beauty and love.

Aries Full Moon 6th October 2017, 2:40 am, Kuala Lumpur. Who dares wins

This Full Moon falls in the sign of Aries, the first sign on the wheel of the zodiac. As the first sign, Aries is related to birth, initiation, beginnings, and the primal life force and will in each of us that propels us forward in life, shaping our self hood and teaching us about courage and boldness.

Inside each of us is the flame of our true self hood. This is a flame that needs to be tended and connected with over and over again in our lifetimes. It is easy to become disconnected from this primal fire as the world, society and others around us encourage distraction, or feedback to us distorted images of who they think we are. It is an ongoing process and journey of life, reclaiming over and over again our own fire, so that we can truly claim the warrior cry of Aries, ‘I AM’.

Aries is known to be a sign of boldness, courage, anger and pure will. Life’s initiations that lead us to back to the glowing embers of our self and our life force requires all of these qualities.

We are in the season of Libra, the polar opposite principle to that of Aries. In Libra, we learn about ourselves through the mirror of relationship. We deepen in harmony, in the way of peace and co-operation.

This Full Moon highlights the balance, or lack of it in our relationships. This includes not only our partnerships, but also the way we relate to the world and to life around us. Have we sunk into a pit of lethargy, losing ourselves to the demands of the world and of others? Do our partnerships support and celebrate our essential self hood? Are our partnerships balanced and equal? In which area of life are you being asked to grow in courage and conviction?

It is a propitious time to seek re-connection with our essential selves, in and outside of our relationships. At this time, we can take one bold step forward towards living and embodying our own truth.

The flame of the true and essential self is a sacred and life giving, it takes daring to claim it, may your flame shine and burn brightly within you.

New Moon in Virgo Wholeness and Purity 20th September 2017, 1:29 pm, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

In all spiritual traditions it is taught that there is something indestructibly whole within us. This purity can never be corrupted, no matter our life experience. Most of us have endured feelings of being broken by life. Paradoxically, it can be said that it is this breaking open that leads us to discover the truth of our own wholeness, our connection to the divine. Virgo in the zodiacal wheel of life teaches us about wholeness, and the prerequisites that will lead us there, humility and work.

It is also understood in the healing traditions that this journey of healing and wholeness is a never ending process, we will be continually cracked open by life. Leonard Cohen, a model Virgo, sings that it is in the cracks that the light gets in. These life initiations reveal to us the great mystery in pieces. In Pisces, the opposite sign to Virgo, we glimpse the divine. In the Virgo polarity our work is to live well on this Earth plane, in our bodies, chopping wood and carrying water, tending to the details of life with devotion and service.

This New Moon features quite a line up in the sign of Virgo. Mercury, the heavenly messenger, is at home in Virgo, meeting up with our planetary lovers, Mars and Venus. This brings a clear, sobering quality to our relationships. The trio also meet up with Saturn in the coming weeks. Virgo emphasizes the practical side to our relationships. Little, daily acts of kindness and service go a long way in relationship, and in this meeting of the Virgo planets with Saturn, we may be asked to address and shift, pay attention to the little things that make a relationship work. Our expectations and ideals of relationship may also come under scrutiny. Ultimately this configuration asks how we may make our lives, our relationships and our work work for us on a practical level.

The shadow side to Virgo is self-criticism, criticism of others and the haunting feeling that one is never quite there, or done. Pay attention to the rising of the voice your inner critic, with the criticism being self-directed and directed those around you. This is a propitious time to center and set your New Moon intentions around claiming your own wholeness, and to begin breaking the cycle of self critical voices that we inherited from our parents and society around us. Zen teacher Cheri Huber has a book called “There is nothing wrong with you, breaking the cycle of self-hate”, a valuable resource for those of us who wish to heal from inner voices that are critical and crippling.

The Virgo New Moon is also an excellent time to begin a self care program, a detox, a healthier diet, or routine. Virgo is also related to planning and execution, so reflecting on how far you’ve come, and outlining the next steps of action in your life are also favored.

This is a grounded, dedicated New Moon. May the New Moon in Virgo reveal to you your wholeness. Blessings! Xo
